The disgusting truth
"Why the hell must there be the norm for people to breed the next generation? Why do you wanna have 6 children?" I asked my mum.
"Coz I thought having a lot of children could bring me a"noisy" family and $ when I become old," my mum answered.
"How about now? What do you think? They are all gone. They have got no $ and they rely on you," I can't help digging the truth.
"I didn't expect such results," she said.
This could be too cruel to ask if she regrets.
Everyone is living on false hopes. This is the worst truth ever.
Did you ever wonder who set up the rules? Why are we following the rules? Why are we as human being struggling to survive naturally? Doesn't this sound more like a sheep when you don't think, and follow right away?
People want to have children since they want someone to rely on when they are old. When children grow up, they are never someone to rely on.
This is a common fact yet people compromise generation after generation.
I don't understand. Is this kind of thinking somewhere hiden in our genes? If this is the case, why is this not in mine?
And my mum still hopes my elder brother could bring her a grandson asap.
My hope is I could fulfil her hope of being great, bring her happiness & $, coz she loves me in a non-understandable way. This is very hard yet I'll try.

曹操 cao cao
剛看畢赤壁2, 感受不淺。
受夠了小喬沒有內容的對白, 驚訝於瑜和亮的智慧, 感動在曹操caocao 的勇氣和信念。
我想許多人也為曹操抱過不平, 即使更多的人口誅筆伐過他。這裡分享一下我的想法。
每個人都有自己的信念, 即使不知從何引起, 也會拚命堅守, 但相比起做好自己, 人們做得更多的是質疑別人的信念。曹操便是其中的受害者, 片中不斷強調他不知為何而戰, 而吳及蜀則是保護自己家園的朋友, 我認為導演取的立場聰明在可以取得大部分人的認同, 卻太膚淺。
沒錯, 保護家園當然是冠冕堂皇, 但What's next? 你還不是去攻打別人? 死傷無數當然天地不容, 但What's next? 犧牲少不免, 人難免一死, 為信念而死才不枉此生。
片中導演只想帶出前者顯淺的意義, 浪費了一個好機會, 這是十分可惜的。如果能勾劃出對信念的執著及抱不同信念的矛盾, 整個層次立刻提升不少。
說回曹操, 他的信念是一統天下, 我想沒什麼比一統天下能讓百姓更安穩地生活, 這個信念有比保護家園差嗎? 有人會反駁說他不擇手段, 我倒想問問你知道什麼是最好的手段嗎? 每一個決定總有trade-off, 而trade-off 也有分時間性。
當然, 他也有不是之處, 在於不能建基於大眾的認同下擁護自己的信念。畢竟對錯有誰說得清? 能夠Leverage on 別人的認同自然能事半功倍, 也是更聰明的做法。
再往現實推近. 現今世上最矛盾的信念可說是民主VS獨裁了。這兩種信念影響國家命運, 進而影響每個人的生活。民主好的是大家都有say, 不好的是time to come up with consensus, 獨裁自然是相反。幾千年來, 爭論不休。
既然沒有定案, 可不省點推翻別人信念的時間, 利用人生短短幾十年好好做好自己? 把自己的信念實行, 推往極致?

Too big to fail
WASHINGTON -- The U.S. government is close to finalizing a deal that would give billions in additional aid to Bank of America Corp. to help it close its acquisition of Merrill Lynch & Co., according to people familiar with the situation.
這個世界愈來愈荒謬。
受到納稅人資助的企業繼續日常業務, 刊登廣告。一方面要防止企業變得Too Big to Fail, 一方面資助企業收購令其變得Too Big。
制度已經徹底亙解, 大家仍然佯裝無知似的生活下去。
這應該是世上最大的妥協吧!
